The Eid Al Fitr celebration in the Philippines will officially commence on Saturday, March 21, its national government announced.The National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF) said that based on the results of Hilal (the Moon)-sighting activities, it has decided to declare March 21 as the start of Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijrah.NCMF said that its adjustment was in coordination with the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao DarulIfta, various Ulama groups, as well as the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration.Stay up to date with the latest news. The Eid Al Fitr celebration in the Philippines will officially commence on Saturday, March 21, its national government announced.
